NYC's Gran Finale Hispanic Heritage Festival 'Latin Fest 2008'
Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion along with The Hub Third Avenue Business Improvement District and ILM Marketing Group will close the celebration of this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month with the Latin Fest 2008.
The festival will feature recording artist Raulín Rosendo, salsa singers Javier Luis and Ronny Mercedes, live Mexican mariachi, merengue bands and Hispanic pop music artists. There will also be folkloric dance presentations, children’s activities, food and more.
Free. The fest will run from noon to 7 p.m., Saturday, October 11, at 149th - 154th streets on Third Avenue.

According to the 2000 Census, the largest Hispanic population in New York resides in The Bronx county with a total population of approximately 700,000 Latinos out of the entire 1.4 million Bronx residents.
