FlyNY Kite Design Competition!
Calling all artists, designers, creative-types, & kite enthusiasts. Enter the FlyNY Kite Design Competition by creating an original, handmade kite to be showcased at the event.
On Saturday, August 21* the City of New York Parks & Recreation, in partnership with Architecture for Humanity New York, will host the second annual FlyNY Kite Festival from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pier I at 70th Street in Riverside Park South, Manhattan.
The FlyNY Kite Festival is FREE and open to the public. For more information about FlyNY, and to register your kite design, please visit www.nyc.gov/parks/flyny.
The last day to register for the Kite Design Competition is Friday, August 6.
