Service will help children get ready for the new school year
Affinity Health Plan, a non-profit managed care organization that offers quality, affordable health coverage to New York residents, in partnership with The Acacia Network, has launched a back-to-school campaign to help children in the Bronx get ready for the new school year. The “Get Fit for School” events have been taking place from 10AM - 3PM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at two locations in the Bronx since August. There is still time to participate though.
Children attending the events will have the opportunity to get full physical exams, immunizations, free giveaways, back to school supplies, and more.
The Claremont Family Health Center at 262-4 East 174th Street, will play host on Tuesdays, September 6 and 13. On Wednesdays, September 7 and 14, they will be held at the Park Avenue Health Center at 4196 Park Avenue. For more information, call 1-888-543-9070.
